Sarah's Engagement Ring | December 2013

My big brother, David, got engaged December 28, 2013! :)  His fiancee, Sarah, lives in Canada, so before David took the ring up there to propose to her, I had a little photo session of it.  David came home from work just in time to see me balancing the ring on some tree branches!  Hey, I do what it takes to get the shot!  (I had mom holding her hands under the ring as I balanced it because I was sooo afraid I'd drop it & lose it in the leaves!)

If you know David at all, you'll know that, in general, he's very particular about details.  I don't know of any guy that has ever put as much thought & research into choosing an engagement ring as David did.  All Sarah told him is that she preferred yellow gold for the band... the rest was up to him.  Afterwards she told him that she had secretly hoped it would be a solitaire!  He did such a great job... several people have said that it fits Sarah & her personality perfectly!

Stephen {Newborn} 12.26.2013

My new nephew, Stephen Nathaniel Mills! :)  Isn't he such a handsome fellow?  He's already greatly loved & will most likely be spoiled in no time... especially having 2 big sisters who run to him with a toy or blanket anytime he even starts to make a noise!  I loved getting to take pictures of this new addition to my sister's family while they were still in the hospital.  The looks on my nieces faces when they first saw him were priceless & I wouldn't trade getting to spend time with my sister, brother-in-law, & little Stephen on the first day of his life for anything!

To Prove I'm Still Alive

     Oh, I know!  I never update this poor blog anymore.  It's really terrible.  I'd love to keep this thing going, but at the moment I'm just overwhelmed with all that is going on.  Maybe through the winter I'll give this thing a makeover & revive it again. Drew + Allie || Just for fun {August 9, 2012}

Hey there!

It's Anna here.  We recently did a shoot with one of my best friends in the whole world!  He also happens to be my cousin & Cara's brother, Andrew.  Only, {I think} he has a new best friend...  some blonde headed girl named Allie!  :)  This was a "just for fun" session & it was just that.... fun!  I had a great time getting to know Drew's girlfriend, Allie a little better!  These two are extremely photogenic!  It also helps that they were up for anything & had a lot of ideas of their own to add to the session!  We got just as many crazy and funny pictures as we did serious ones.  Yeah, I think they fit good together. :)  I hope you enjoy looking at these pictures as much as we enjoyed taking them!!
